This site is designed and maintained by the Madockawanda Lodge Website Committee, under the guidance, direction and approval of the Lodge Chief, Adviser, and Staff Adviser of Madockawanda Lodge.

Madockawanda Lodge, its activities, program, and publications are under the administrative authority of the Pine Tree Council and its Scout Executive.

All names and email addresses are listed on this site with the permission of the person listed. Photographs where the individual is identified are displayed with the written permission of the person listed and the written permission of their parent or guardian, if under 18 years of age. If your photo has been posted here with your permission, and you later decide to rescind that permission, you can email the Lodge Secretary, and the photo(s) will be removed.

Privacy Policy

You have the option of registering with the Lodge's Turtle Soup Express mailing list. If you choose to register for this service, Yahoo! Groups, the service provider, will collect your email address. Once registered with Yahoo!, that information is subject to their Privacy Policy. If you do not want Yahoo! Groups to collect your email address, do not register for the Turtle Soup Express service.

An alternative to registering with Yahoo! is to subscribe to the Hot Soup RSS Feed. It functions much like the Turtle Soup Express, save that it does not email you, nor collect any information, except the basic data noted below. To subscribe, click the RSS icon in the right navigation bar and bookmark the resulting page. You may need another program to read RSS feeds.

Occasionally, we may use online forms to let you register for events or staffing for events. Unless otherwise specified, these forms do not retain the data they collect, and the collected data will only be used in the way specified by the form.

Pine Tree Council and Google's servers automatically collect some basic information when you visit this site, including the URL, browser type, IP address, language, and the date and time of your request. This data is used for informational purposes only. Information collected by Google is subject to their privacy policy.

Restricted Files Notice

Training programs which contain ceremony information are restricted to certain levels of membership in the Order, as appropriate. Instructions for accessing the information in restricted files is provided with each file.

The BSA's Youth Protection Policy forbids secret organizations in the Boy Scouts of America. Parents and leaders, OA members or not, can see our ceremonies. We safeguard information because we believe that our ceremonies have the best effect on people when they don't know what's coming. Our ceremonies teams work very hard to provide a quality experience for candidates and members, and we do not want to waste that effort. If you have concerns about the content of our ceremonies or other safeguarded material, please contact Bruce Rueger, the Lodge Adviser.

Please check for updated versions of ceremonies materials from National, as they are updated frequently. Web-distributed training is not an official project of the Order of the Arrow.
