Hello All!

The start to 2008 has been outstanding! With 612 hours of service completed at Winter Camp, and more at University of Scouting, we are looking at a great start. The election season has come to a close, with a total of 189 new candidates elected throughout the Lodge. Our first Ordeal was held at Camp Hinds on the weekend of May 2-4. 31 new candidates completed their Ordeal, and 9 members sealed their membership by earning Brotherhood.

The next Ordeal is at Camp Hinds, and is scheduled for the weekend of May 30-June 1. The third Ordeal is at Camp Bomazeen on September 5-7. I hope to see you all there. The Lodge can always use help providing service, and giving back to Council; an Ordeal is a great way to show that support. We also have the OA Service Hours each week during the summer at Camp Hinds - when you're there, stop by Thursday night and help your fellow Arrowmen make camp the best it can be - and earn a neat patch while you're there! Everyone can help in making this summer as successful as this spring has proven to be.
